Midwife Services
Community midwives are experts in normal, with specialized training for prenatal care, labor, birth and emergency skills in out of hospital settings.
A Certified Professional Midwife (CPM)® is a knowledgeable, skilled and professional independent midwifery practitioner who has met the standards for certification set by the North American Registry of Midwives (NARM) and is qualified to provide the Midwives Model of Care. The CPM is the only midwifery credential that requires knowledge about and experience in out-of-hospital settings.
We offer prenatal care, homebirth options, postpartum and newborn care for families in Des Moines, Iowa. We will also travel up to 90 min for homebirth clients.
Well Woman Visits
Well woman visits at Heaven Sent Hombirith are individualized and comfy. We offer a variety of testing options for women's wellness that you might not find elsewhere.
We incorporate our knowledge of herbalism, nutrition and the midwifery model of care to provide natural therapies for women's health issues. Our focus is on the health and wellbeing of women during the childbearing years. We do not prescribe or place IUDs, however we are able to do most well woman testings and screenings.
